The Boeing 700 Double-Decker Twin Concept is a hypothetical aircraft design that was created by Camil Valiquette, a Canadian modeler and painter. The concept features two decks that can accommodate 450 passengers in a three-class configuration, and two engines that can propel the aircraft to a range of 9600 nautical miles. The concept was intended to be a possible successor to the Boeing 747, the iconic jumbo jet that has been in service since 1969. The Boeing 700 Double-Decker Twin Concept was never officially endorsed by Boeing, but it was made available as a freeware add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, a popular flight simulation software. The add-on includes three different liveries and animated ground servicing features, such as stairs, baggage carts, and fuel trucks. The Boeing 700 Double-Decker Twin Concept is an example of how flight simulation enthusiasts can imagine and create their own aircraft designs, even if they are not realistic or feasible in real life.
