If you are a fan of flight simulation games, you might be interested in the Airbus A340 Mega Package Vol 2 FSX & P3D. This is a free add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Prepar3D that includes 13 models of the Airbus A340 aircraft, with over 150 liveries and realistic sounds.

The Airbus A340 is a long-range, wide-body passenger jet airliner that was developed by Airbus in the late 1980s. It has four engines and can carry up to 440 passengers in a typical three-class configuration. The A340 was designed to compete with the Boeing 747 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 in the long-haul market. It entered service in 1993 and was produced until 2011, with a total of 377 units built.

The Airbus A340 Mega Package Vol 2 FSX & P3D features the following models:

- A340-500
- A340-600

Each model has its own characteristics, such as wingspan, length, weight, fuel capacity, range, speed, and performance. The models are also compatible with the FSX native pushback truck and have animated ground servicing (AGS).

The package also includes over 150 liveries from various airlines around the world, such as Air France, Lufthansa, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, and many more. You can choose your favorite livery from the aircraft selection menu or use the repaint kit to create your own custom paint scheme.

The package also features realistic sounds for each engine type: CFM56-5C, Trent 500, and Trent 700. The sounds are recorded from real aircraft and include engine start-up, shut-down, idle, spool-up, take-off, landing, reverse thrust, and more.
